Expat Friendly Manila

Ins, Outs and Goings About

Manila Manila!

Living in Metro Manila could be a whopping disaster or an exciting adventure for people who come from different countries.

Contrary to what most people think, Manila isn’t all about traffic jams and the ever-intriguing delicacy balut, there’s a lot more to Manila than that.

It has been my pleasure in the past years to encounter, acquaint myself and befriend a number of expats who have lived and worked in Manila. In this blog, I will slowly document their living experience here in a nutshell.

Some of them have agreed to pose for photos. The photos you will see on this site are taken with real people, some are staged — but many of them like the ones where the guys are eating isaw, are real.

Enjoy reading our blog as it takes you to experience living in Manila!

  1. Moving to manila is not that hard. More so, the cost of living here is way cheaper compared to nearby countries. Thus, retirement in this country by foreigner is always one of the best and practical option aside from the fact that people here all knows how to speak in English.

The culture in the Philippines is a summation of almost all cultures in the world. Being once a colony of Spain and a Commonwealth under the United States of America puts a little “Western Touch” to our way of living.

The economy in the Philippines is adaptive yet independent to global financial changes. It is therefore rather easier to do business here than elsewhere in the world. The market is big and the competition allows new player to grow.

Aside from all there, it is only in the Philippines where you get the chance to live in a country composed of more than 7,100 islands with thousands of tourist attractions, nature parks and nice beaches.

    See it for yourself!!!
